Opening the door to an organized pantry and knowing everything is in its place is such a great feeling! Today I will share some of my favorite products that make pantry organization a breeze.
Every Spring and Fall I do a full cleaning of my pantry, which includes taking everything out and wiping down the shelves and walls. Even though you and your family members "should" know where things go, they do not always get put back where they belong. Our lives are busy, so there is no denying things will get out of place. No worries!
Adding small shelves will give you another level of space and allow for a better division of products. These particular shelves are actually considered "shoe storage" when doing a search — they work perfectly for canned goods. Small plastic storage boxes also fit in the shelves, great for holiday cutters, sprinkles, and miscellaneous baking items. When using these shelves, be sure you have the proper bracing as they can be a bit heavy.
Using three-drawer Sterilite organizers helps keep coffee, apple cider, hot chocolate K-cups, and spices in place. They also keep items dust free and organized. These drawers work great in bathrooms and laundry cupboards as well — perfect for keeping like things together! Having stacked storage such as drawers, rather than bins lined up, takes up less space.
Larger Sterilite rolling carts keep snack bars, onions, potatoes, and miscellaneous plastic containers in one place. Removing a shelf in the pantry to fit these rolling carts gives you stacked storage that creates more space for your stuff overall.
All items are lined up with like products behind each other. If there are different items, stagger them so you can see each specific item. Using the shelves above gives extra space without taking up more floor area.
Although many are focused on aesthetics, labeling every basket and drawer can be too much. The items you buy change quite often and the place they are stored can change as well. For the most part, your family knows where to find what they are looking for.
I hope you can see the great benefits these products possess and give them a try. Remember, it is not about perfection — it is the simplicity of the process and the ease of the upkeep!
Happy Organizing!
